Robot in deep thought

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere. Some consider it a panacea, the answer to all of life's problems. Others see it as a scourge on the human race, stripping us of our humanity, that as AI advances humans devolve. AI is here and increasingly a part of our daily lives, but it is the individual's responsibility to choose how they will interact with it.

As for me and how it directly affects my writing, I here and now clearly state that NO text on my personal website uses AI. The closest I come to using it is for grammar checking and page captions. I do not use it for idea generation, rough drafts, of any portion of posted material. The way I see it is that I'm doing this blog because I like to write. I enjoy coming up with new and twisted "what if" scenarios. I have no deadlines, no restrictions, no boss tapping on my shoulder for output so why would I resort to artificial intelligence for artificial output? I don't and I won't. It’s just me, warts and all.

Going back to my earlier statement as to choosing how to interact with AI, I must say that I am intrigued with the graphic possibilities. I can see how its fast and easy—and cheap—creation could boost my website’s presentation and enhance the reader's experience. Since I am deficient in this skill set and lack the funding for quality work, I'm open to exploring this option.
